President's Report: Lorraine Jenne
Dear GMHRA Community –
I am writing, post-State Conference, with renewed enthusiasm for, and appreciation of the talent in our HR community. I was delighted to see my old friends, and to meet some great, new people. The conference was a wonderful reminder of how much energy and wisdom we bring to our employers and employees every day. So, kudos to all of you who are doing so much to support and enrich the lives of others.
Congratulations to Stacy Brockmyre, who won GMHRA’s gift basket in the silent auction at the conference.
This is a quick reminder about our programs for the remainder of the year:
October: Strategic HR Conference at the Mount Washington Resort, 10/27-10/29
December: Please plan to join us at the Rutland Country Club on December 5th for our end of year/holiday mixer. We will be joined by Porter Knight for a dynamic presentation on self-care and staying organized during the crunch of the holidays and open enrollment.
This has become a great tradition where we get to enjoy some refreshments, toast the year passing, and ring in the year ahead. It is a “do-not-miss” event!
Finally, we are busy preparing a slate of speakers and presenters for 2025. If you have ideas for topics that you would like to see discussed, please let us know!
