SHRM Foundation Support

Greetings HR Professionals,

The SHRM Vermont State Council and the HR State Council of New Hampshire are once again teaming up to present the Twin State HR Conference on September 14-15 (virtual) and September 17 (in-person by state). It will be an exciting event with outstanding speakers to include Avish Parashar, Magie Cook, Chuck Gallagher and Felicia Hatcher to name a few.

At that time, the State Councils will be holding a virtual silent auction to include numerous unique items to support the SHRM Foundation’s purpose, mission and vision in our states. That mission is outlined below.

 OUR PURPOSE: Elevate and empower HR as a social force.

OUR MISSION: Mobilizing the power of HR and the generosity of donors to lead positive social change impacting work, workers and the workplace.

OUR VISION: A world of work that works for all.

 At last year’s conference we were able to raise over $4,000 due to the many generous donations we received from so many of you. We are asking if you and your company would be willing to support the SHRM Foundation’s work by donating an item to be included in the silent auction. We recommend donating gift certificates for experiences, lodging or meals, and in the past, donations have also included an hour of your professional services, a retail item, art, jewelry, or electronic items. These donated items create a great deal of buzz at the conference for your products or services, and your name or business will be displayed with your items.

We will have approximately 300 Human Resource Professionals attending the conference. Having an item from your company in these drawings is a great way to showcase your organization and its support of the SHRM Foundation mission. A donation form is also attached.
